8 Holiday Markets Worth Checking Out

Love it for the excuse to eat or drink pumpkin-spice anything, or hate it for the fact it means summer is gone, the cold weather is upon us!

That’s right Edmonton — time to pull out the scarves and mitts, get those tires changed, and hunker down with a hot cup of cocoa.

But while you’re waiting for that Halloween candy to go on sale (minus the candy corn — you are not human if you consider this to be candy), might I suggest checking out one of the best parts of this cozy season — the holiday markets!

The best way to spend your weekends leading up to Christmas is by grabbing a friend, a wad of cash, and heading down to check out one of the many local craft markets. (It’s also one of the best ways to get some early Christmas shopping done). Because, let’s face it, any outdoor strolls on the weekends are becoming a bit too brisk anyways.

But with so many markets to choose from, it can be hard to know which are worth leaving the comfort of your fireplace for (the TV channel fireplace can be equally as cozy, we know). Here are our top picks for holiday markets worth checking out around Edmonton this year:

Nest in the City
